Overview

The FUJIFILM X-T30 III keeps the 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor of its predecessor and puts the current X-Processor 5 behind it. That pairing is the point: the same well-understood sensor, driven by an engine two generations newer, which is what unlocks 6.2K recording, 30fps bursts and the full set of 20 Film Simulations in a charcoal silver body of 378 g. There is no in-body stabilisation — stabilisation comes from the lens.

• Intelligent hybrid AF: phase detection working down to -7.0EV, which is well past the point where the scene looks dark to your eye.
• Subject detection built on the X-Processor 5's deep-learning models.

• 20 Film Simulation modes: PROVIA, Velvia, ASTIA, Classic Chrome, REALA ACE, Classic Neg., Nostalgic Neg., ETERNA, ETERNA Bleach Bypass and the ACROS family with its yellow, red and green filter variants.

• 6.2K open-gate recording at 6240 x 4160 in 3:2, using the full sensor area.

What it is good for
