Overview

The Nikon Z6III is built around a 24.5 MP partially stacked full-frame sensor, the first of its kind, which reads out fast enough to give 6K RAW internally and a viewfinder that stays readable at 4000 cd/m2. Supplied here with the NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR, an 8.3x zoom that covers wide angle to telephoto in one 570 g lens.

• 24.5 MP partially stacked CMOS sensor (35.9 x 23.9 mm): faster readout than a conventional design, which is what makes the burst rates and the internal RAW video possible.
• EXPEED 7 processor, the same as Nikon flagship bodies.

Autofocus and speed

• 273 focus points in single-point AF and 299 in auto-area, with 3D tracking.
• Detection of nine subject types, inherited from the Z9.

Video without an external recorder

• 6K N-RAW and ProRes RAW recorded internally, with no external box needed.
